Buffalo Mountain Camp is located near the historic town of Jonesborough in the mountains of upper-east Tennessee.

The Retreat Center at Buffalo Mountain Camp is a 30-bed facility with private and semi-private baths, meeting rooms, dining hall and common areas, all in one building. 
   
Surrounding the center are acres of woods and mountains to be explored, with moderate hiking trails up the mountain and easy walking trails near the Retreat Center.

The Retreat Center sits on a hillside, overlooking a private lake stocked with fish. Canoes and kayaks are available one afternoon during the retreat (weather permitting and if lifeguard is available) for a paddle on the lake. While relaxing in the rocking chairs on the porches, visitors often see deer and turkey feeding nearby. Beside the lake is a well-maintained fire ring which plays an integral part in the retreats as the location for nightly fire-side fellowship and reflection.
